Steve has been married to DuAnne Farus for over 30 years. He has three children
Scott (Alicia) Farus, Matt (Autumn) Farus, and Stacey (Sam) Smith. He has six
grandchildren Cody, Madisyn, Brandon, Austin, Conner, and KyAnne.

Steve attended Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science where he graduated in 1979.
Immediately after his graduation he came to work for Clyde Thompson until he bought
the home in January of 1985.

Steve is a Navy Veteran that served during the Vietnam war. He is Assistant Chief
for the Wayne Township Fire Department. He is also a member of F&AM Lodge #283
and an honorary member of Gage and Gavel Lodge # 448 as well as Amrou Grotto #52.
He is a past president of the Ohio Funeral Directors Association District 13 and
was recently honored with the Sertoma Service to Mankind award for the Zanesville
Sertoma Club. He is a member of the Chandlersville United Methodist Church.

Matt graduated from Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science with a bachelor's degree
in May of 1995.

Matt and his wife Autumn have two sons Austin and Conner. Matt has been on the Wayne
Township Fire Department for over 12 years. He is a member of the F&AM #283, a
member of FOPA Zane Lodge #13, and the Duncan Falls-Philo Lions Club. Matt and
his family are members of the Duncan Falls United Methodist Church.
